Elisabeth Clare Louise Walsh was born on 15th September 1976 in London.
She attended the exclusive West Heath School, and later trained at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art or RADA as it is more commonly known.
She has appeared in numerous theatre productions, including:
Elisabeth made her television debut in 1998 in the television film Falling For A Dancer. Following her amazing performance in that film, she went on to star in numerous television roles in a variety of genre, such as, Love In A Cold Climate, Murphy's Law, My Hero, Love Soup & Midsomer Murders.
Elisabeth is currently best known for her portrayal of Dr Zara Carmichael in BBC's Doctors, a character she has been playing since 4th June 2009.
